Vinay Deshpande, President & CEO
Vinay is co-founder and CEO of Bizmatics. He brings in 30 years of vast experience in the software industry in driving Bizmatics operations. As an entrepreneur and CEO of Bizmatics, he set the strategic direction for the company and the product line. His passion for development of world class products and use of latest technology is a driving force behind PrognoCIS vision.
Prior to starting Bizmatics with Rajiv Apte, Vinay previously co-founded SoftPlus in 1994, an eCRM software company serving telecommunication market. SoftPlus was acquired by US Interactive for $360 million in 2000. Vinay played variety of roles including Sr. VP of Engineering and CEO of the combined public company. Prior to SoftPlus, Vinay co-founded Digital Tools, an enterprise project management software company in 1989. Digital Tools product AutoPLAN is deployed at Sun Micro, Govt. contracts, McDonald Douglas, Nortel, and many other enterprise customers.
Vinay started his career as software engineer in 1982 and has held various software development positions such as Analyst, Project Leader and Senior Consultant before starting Digital Tools in 1989. Vinay has MS in Engineering with major in Computer Science.
Vinay lives with his wife Anjali in Cupertino and they have one daughter. Vinay is an avid hiker and has hiked extensively in US, Africa, and Asia.
Rajiv Apte, CTO
Rajiv is co-founder and CTO of Bizmatics. He brings in 30 years of vast experience in the software product development.
Rajiv has been the architect of Project Management software in late 80's, used for power Plants, submarine construction and other large industrial projects in India. With Vinay, the product was re-engineered for US markets to run on Unix Workstations. Rajiv has worked on development of multiple platform ERP products for SME enterprises in India.
Rajiv is a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and an MBA from IIM Bangalore. He lives in Mumbai with his wife Neeta and they have one daughter whos is MS ObGyn. Rajiv is a Rotarian and likes to write poetry and articles.
Chris Ferguson, Executive VP Sales
Christopher Ferguson has 25 years of Health Care experience. He has previously worked for:
- The Upjohn Company working in the Washington, DC metro area focusing on the delivery of Home Health Aides to home bound patients unable to visit a doctors office.
- The Travelers Insurance Company, San Diego, CA working in the Group Health Small Business Employee Health Benefits.
- MD Buyline, Inc, Dallas TX Hospital technology research company MD Buyline is the place where entrepreneurial skills were developed and business plan making began.
- EMR Experts Inc., La Jolla, CA. Founder and former CEO ofthe application of EMR sales and deployment was fine tuned. In 2008 EMR Experts Inc. merged with PrognoCIS EMR to increase the visibility and deployment of an exceptional EMR.
Ramesh Murthy, VP Sales and Business Development
In his role as Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Ramesh focuses on new strategic areas for growth, in addition to the historical Business Development functions. He brings a consistent track record of sales strategy and execution to this role. In more than 8 years of Bizmatics service, he has demonstrated abilities to collaborate with other team members to accomplish growth goals, open new reseller channels and exceed sales quotas.
Ramesh joined Bizmatics in February of 2005 as Regional Sales director and was promoted to the position of Regional Vice President in 2008.
Ramesh has been involved in Healthcare IT and Engineering since 1989. Prior to joining Bizmatics , his experience includes working with USSI, HCL Technologies, SST Systems and Tata consulting Engineers in various capacities ranging from Sales, Engineering & Resource management.
Ramesh received his Masters in Engineering &Technology from IIT Roorkee. He is married to Renu for 23 years and they live in Austin,TX with their two children. He has a green thumb and enjoys gardening.
Kempton Stephens, VP Sales and Strategic Accounts
Kempton Stephens has been with Bizmatics, Inc. since 2003 and for 15 years prior, ran his own business, customizing and delivering medical software solutions from CyCare/McKesson, as well as providing general IT solutions for various healthcare communities in the Central Valley of California. In 1999, Kemp's business was acquired by PerfectPracticeMD, the precursor to AdvancedMD, where he worked for 4 years before joining Bizmatics, Inc. in 2003.

Minal Dukle, Technical Support Management
Minal Dukle is responsible for Technical Services. She has significant global experience in IT Services and has domain knowledge of CRM and Healthcare. In a career spanning over 30 years, she has managed various projects globally apart from managing technology, setting up processes & training. Her exceptional interpersonal skills have enabled her to integrate with colleagues and customers and develop valuable friendships. Positive and keen to succeed and being an effective communicator helps in team building and inspires confidence in them.
In her previous role at Bizmatics she was responsible for setting up the implementation team and training apart from managing strategic client accounts and resellers. She handled the east coast operations while in US.
She completed her graduation from Mumbai University after which she pursued a career in computers.
